The 50th Anniversary of the NHS is a great opportunity to celebrate nurses' commitment to the health service and to recognise the new and pioneering ways nurses have found to care for patients.
The RCN will focus attention on the special role that nurses have played on 12 May which is Nurses Day - the anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birth. To celebrate Nurses' Day, The Royal College of Nursing has produced a special pack of materials which highlight nurses' contribution to the health service.
