The anniversary year kicked off in January with the official media and education pack launch at St Thomas' Hospital in London.

Secretary of State for Health, Frank Dobson launched the anniversary year and, as the picture shows, he was keen to take a driving seat to promote the education pack.

Seen in the video which accompanies the pack, the motorbike takes a tour around the NHS (with the help of a rider!), giving pupils both an insight and informative look at today's health service in the UK.
