Shaping The NHS : From the past into the future supported by Zeneca Pharmaceuticals
Many factors have shaped and influenced the NHS over the last 50 years. Advances in science and technology have extended the boundaries of what is possible, political and public opinion have tempered what was acceptable, and financial and economic considerations have influenced what was achievable.
In a special series of six lectures sponsored by Zeneca Pharmaceuticals, key commentators in their fields will chart the influence of ethics, Government and politics, clinical advance, economics, patient power, and efficiency and effectiveness on the NHS, and consider how these influences will shape the health service of the future.
