At noon on Friday 3 July, national leaders are expected to join staff, volunteers and patients at Westminster Abbey for a celebration that acknowledges the spiritual values that have underpinned the NHS since its inception.
This will be an opportunity to give thanks for a unique institution that touches all our lives, for the values it represents, and for its presence at the heart of our national life in every village, town and city in the land.
