The Ideal Health Show, which takes place in the Grand Hall, Olympia on 3-6 July 1998, is a national event for the general public and for the employees of the NHS.
The show brings together health providers, the health and leisure industry and the public to create an event that presents health in a dynamic, interactive and informative way.
Activities, debate and the enjoyment of good health will dovetail with a market place of healthy products and lifestyle ideas, reinforcing healthy living messages and cutting public and commercial boundaries because good health is relevant to all. Of interest to public, private and voluntary organisations from the most diverse range of health and lifestyle sectors, the show brings together a dynamic mix of exhibitors united by a common theme.
The show also provides the media with a range of significant opportunities. There will be a fully equipped broadcast stage to support live broadcasts from the show and to host the recording of regular programmes and features. There will also be a schedule of high profile activities from the stage, ranging from mass first aid demonstrations, fitness workouts and cookery sessions with celebrity chefs to sportswear fashion shows and keynote addresses.
The show will also be hosting 12 sponsored debates on major health policy issues and priority public health concerns to reflect the new agenda for the nation's health strategy.
