'Health Visitor'

'What do they do?' Health visitors are key players in delivering healthcare locally. As a health visitor your focus is on health rather than illness.

'Educational and age requirements' Registered nurse qualification. All courses are at degree level (level 3) and applicants will need to have diploma level credits to gain admission. In addition individual institutions may set their own entry requirements.

'Training and qualifications' Courses can be full-time (not less than an academic year of 32 weeks), or the equivalent part-time. Training leads to qualification as a Registered Health Visitor.
