'Orthoptist'

'What do they do?' Orthoptists carry out the diagnosis and treatment of visual disorders such as squint and defective vision.

'Educational and age requirements' Five academic subjects at GCSE level including maths and a science and two GCE A level or equivalent.

'Training and qualifications' Three years full-time.
